The journal “Mizar. Costellazione di pensieri” has been active since September 2015 and focuses on themes related to pedagogy, didactics, and the philosophy of education. It is one of the journals published by the University of Salento, and since October of this year, it has been officially recognized as a Class A scientific journal for the academic fields PAED-01 and PAED-02.
From its inception, the journal has been directed by Professor Marco Piccinno, together with the co-directors Professor Daniela De Leo and Professor Gabriella Armenise.
Over the years, it has featured contributions from distinguished scholars such as Professor Franco Garelli, Professor Hervé Cavallera, and others.
In 2023, the journal had the honor of publishing an interview with Professor Howard Gardner on the topic of the disciplined mind, and it has also published the proceedings of two national conferences of the CIRPed (Italian Center for Pedagogical Research).
