HELMeTO 2024 aimed to bring together researchers and practitioners working in Higher Distance Education Institutions or studying Online Learning Methodologies to present and share their research in a multidisciplinary context. The conference held in Rome was focused on all the relevant topics for online higher education and provides a forum for the discussion of new research directions and applications in these fields, where different disciplines could effectively meet.
The three-day of the conference hosted two general tracks (one more on the methodological topics, one more on the technological side) and nine special tracks. HELMeTO 2024 saw the presentation of 84 contributions from researchers of 14 different countries. The total number of participants was around 150.
