Anna Siri

Anna Siri, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Sociology and co-director of the UNESCO Chair in “Anthropology of Health, Biosphere, and Healing Systems”. She is an expert in evaluative research, methods and techniques of social research and has been studying the interconnections between gender, social vulnerability and health inequalities for years. She also investigates the educational value of cultural heritage and its impact on individual and social well-being, developing tools to assess its impact and exploring technologies for accessible and inclusive heritage. Anna coordinates several research projects funded by the MSCA, H2020 and EACEA programs and was awarded the European Commission’s Seal of Excellence in 2021 for the GENIE proposal under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie H2020 call.
