Baldini Michela

/ Associate Professor /

Michela Baldini is Associate Professor of History of Pedagogy and Children’s Literature, and holds a PhD in Education and Psychology with a Doctor Europaeus distinction in collaboration with the University of Seville. Her research focuses on migrant and working childhood between the Unification of Italy and the First World War, with particular attention to the history of girls, gender pedagogy, and the use of picture books to narrate inclusion.
She is the Scientific Director of the postgraduate program ESEI (Educators for Early Childhood Educational Services) and a member of the Educational Theories Lab. She is the author of numerous national and international publications on these topics.
