CINZIA BETTINESCHI

CINZIA BETTINESCHI (PhD) is currently Tenure Track Assistant Professor at Pegaso University, after three years as Lecturer and Associate Researcher at the Department of Classical Archaeology, University of Augsburg (Germany). Since 2021, she is also Adjunct Professor at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She received her post-MA Specialization (2013) and PhD (2018) from the University of Padua. Since 2015, she has been actively involved in the theoretical and practical developments of automated image analysis and Artificial Intelligence for archaeological applications. She has participated to archaeological missions in Italy, Israel, and Pakistan. She is the author or co-author of more than 55 scientific publications.
