Domenico Trezza

Domenico Trezza is Associate Professor of General Sociology at Pegaso Online University. He earned a PhD in Social Sciences and Statistics from the University of Naples Federico II. He focuses on digital methods in sociology research, with a particular focus on the impact of artificial intelligence and digitalization on education, employment, and welfare. He has conducted research and teaching at the University of Naples Federico II, where he taught Innovative Methods and Research in Generative AI in the PhD program in Management and Case Studies in the MeTARS Master’s program at Sapienza University of Rome. He coordinates the regional GOVERN-AI Lab program, dedicated to the use of generative AI in educational and social services, and is a member of the ALGOFEED research team, a national network of the University of Milan, the University of Naples, and the University of Pavia, on algorithmic processes in digital media. He is also a member of the International Consortium “Global AI Adoption Survey”, coordinated by the University of Ljubljana, dedicated to studying the perceptions and adoption of artificial intelligence in the public sector globally.
