Leone Maria Lucrezia

Marialucrezia Leone has worked at the Universities of Bari, Berlin, Cologne, Lecce, Leuven, and Rome – Sapienza.

Her research mainly focuses on the history of ancient, medieval, and modern moral thought.Among her publications are the scholarly monographs: Philosophy and Theology of the Vita Activa: The Sphere of Practical Action in Henry of Ghent (2014); Synderesis: The Immediate Knowledge of Moral Principles between the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Period (2020); and Reasons to Believe: A History of the Ethics of Belief (2025).
