Nicola Pannofino

/ Researcher /

Nicola Pannofino is Tenure Track Researcher in Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes (SPS/08) at the Department of Psychology and Health Sciences at Pegaso Telematic University. He earned a PhD in Comparative Social Research at the University of Turin and taught Sociology of Health at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and General Sociology at the University of Valle d’Aosta. He is a member of the research center CRAFT (Contemporary Religions and Faiths in Transition) at the University of Turin, and of the scientific committee for the REMEDIS serie (Religions, Media and Social Imaginaries) published by Mimesis. His fields of research include: sociology of contemporary spirituality in the digital and popular culture; the role of spirituality in illness experiences and in critical life events; conspiracy theories; qualitative and creative research methods.
