Associate Professor of General and Social Pedagogy (S.S.D. PAED-01/A) at Pegaso Telematic University.
She holds a PhD in Educational Dynamics and Education for Politics from the University of Bari “Aldo Moro.”
She also earned a Specialization Diploma in the Montessori Method for Early Childhood Educators.
Her main research interests include the pedagogy of family educational relationships and their connections with schools, early childhood education, Maria Montessori’s scientific pedagogy, and gender studies.
She has published numerous articles in national and international scientific journals, two monographs, one edited volume, and has presented at national and international conferences.
She received the 2023 S.I.Ped. (Italian Society of Pedagogy) Award – XI edition, for her monograph Rebirthing into the Family: Toward a Generative Pedagogy of Relational Skills (Franco Angeli, Milan, 2022).
She serves as a referee and Editorial Board Member for the academic journal Humanities and Social Sciences Communications published by Springer Nature, and is also a member of editorial boards, scientific committees, and a referee for various national and international academic series and journals.
She is an ordinary member of several academic societies: S.I.PED. (Italian Society of Pedagogy), C.I.R.Ped. (Italian Center for Pedagogical Research), S.I.PE.GES. (Italian Society of General and Social Pedagogy), S.I.R.D. (Italian Society of Educational Research), and S.I.R.E.M. (Italian Society for Research on Media Education).
