CARES is a university spin-off that integrates scientific research, technological innovation, and clinical application to develop advanced tools aimedat early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders. Through a multidisciplinary approach combining education, training,
and clinical assistance, CARES offers evidence-based solutions to support children, adolescents, and adults. Among its flagship projects, I.N.S.I.G.H.T.S.(Investigating through Neural Network the Stages of Infant Growth with High-Tech Support) is an innovative software designed for educators, teachers,
and healthcare professionals, enabling the monitoring of children’s biopsychosocial development from ages 0 to 6, translating data into ICF-CY codes, creating a personalized developmental history, and utilizing interactive chatbots to enhance observation skills. The implementation of I.N.S.I.G.H.T.S.
in schools represents a breakthrough in prevention and early identification of atypical development, facilitating timely intervention. In addition to research and technological development, CARES is also a center of clinical excellence, offering a comprehensive pathway for diagnosis, treatment,
and psychological support for neuropsychiatric and neuropsychological disorders across all age groups, providing services such as psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological assessment, rehabilitative and psychotherapeutic interventions, and specialized tutoring for DSA/BES (Specific Learning
Disorders and Special Educational Needs).
The multidisciplinary team, composed of psychologists, psychotherapists, speech therapists, neuropsychomotor therapists, child neuropsychiatrists, and pedagogists, operates in strict accordance with national and international guidelines.
CARES represents an educational and therapeutic ecosystem, where research meets clinical practice to provide cutting-edge solutions in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of neurodevelopmental disorders. With an integrated and interdisciplinary vision, the center ensures a comprehensive care pathway, from early detection to intervention, with the goal of improving the quality of life for children, families, and educators.
