Carolina Zarrilli is a phd student in Medical Humanities and Welfare Policies at the University of Foggia. Her research explores the rethinking of oncology environments through cultural interventions, sound design, and biophilia to create more welcoming hospital spaces. She is interested in humanization of care and patient-centered medicine, aiming to raise awareness and train professionals to design more humane and effective places of care.

Valentina Grion is a Full Professor of Experimental Pedagogy at the University of Padua. After several years of teaching in schools, she has worked at the University since 2008, where she initially focused her research on educational technologies.
